Zhong Lun Law Firm Advised China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co. Ltd. in listing in HK
On 4 July 2007, China High Speed Transmission Equipment Group Co. Ltd. (“China Transmission", 0658) successfully listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong Exchanges. China Transmission is the largest manufacturer of wind power generation transmission equipments. The reaction of the market to IPO of China Transmission was hot, with 691 times of over subscription in public offer and RMB148.7billion of frozen capital. China Transmission totally issued 300 million shares in international market and raised HKD2.124 billion of capital with the profit margin of 42.6 times. The closing price on the first day of listing was RMB14, which was twice of the issue price of RMB7.08. It is the sharpest share on the first day of listing in Hong Kong Exchanges.
Zhong Lun Law Firm is the PRC legal counsel for Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd. which is recommender of the listing of China Transmission. Mr. Hu Yanfeng and Mr. Zhang Zhong were attorneys in charge of this project and Mr. Gu Pingkuan and Mr. Liu Zhiyong also worked for this project.
