The “Aisalaw Leading Lawyers" listed in the “AISALAW Leading Lawyers" are the 500 leading commercial lawyers elected by the clients and legal professionals. The “Aisalaw Leading Lawyers" are the top 500 lawyers having specialties and outstanding achievements in various professional areas elected from the nomination from the broad investigation among more than 16,000 in-house legal counsels, senior administrative personnel and lawyers of the foreign and domestic law firms.
Mr. Qiao Wenjun, partner and managing partner of Shanghai office of Zhong Lun, is nominated for the “Aisalaw Leading Lawyers" of 2004 in both bank financing and M&A. He is the member of Asia-Pacific International Lawyer Association and deputy director of bank and insurance research committee of Shanghai Lawyer Association. Mr. Qiao has been practicing law for more than 12 years, with core practices in banking and financing, project financing, M&A, foreign investment, reorganization of incorporation and real estate, and the industries involve M&A, foreign investment and reorganization of incorporation, such as power energy, financial institute, automobile, real estate and construction project, telecommunication and hi-tech, and media and entertainment. Mr. Qiao serves several prominent clients including MCDONALDS, GE, UTC, SAP, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Bank of China, Global Music, Huarun Electric Power Co., Ltd, Shangri-La Asia Limited, Sun Hung Kai Properties and so on. In 2003, Mr. Qiao was elected as one of the “Shanghai Outstanding Young Lawyers" by Shanghai Lawyer Association, as well granted title of “New Long March Commanddoman" by Shanghai Youth Union.
