In September 2007, Kebao Boloni entered into an investment agreement with Morgan Stanley, pursuant to which Morgan Stanley made a US$18 million strategic investment in Kebao Boloni. The team from Zhong Lun Shanghai Office includes Jeremy Dai, Ying Jun, Megan Wu and Grace Ye. Zhong Lun provided comprehensive services to Kebao Boloni in the whole process of transaction, including deal structuring and documents drafting.
Kebao Boloni is a leading market player in China’s household products, engaging in the business of high end integrated household lifestyle solutions. Prior to this transaction, the company has successfully attracted four major private equity funds, including Hony Capital. This is the first investment that Morgan Stanley made in China’s household sector. The IPO of the company is currently planned for 2009.
