Zhong Lun Advises China Paradise Electronics Retail Limited in Hong Kong IPO
On October 14, 2005, China Paradise Electronics Retail Limited was successfully listed on the main board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. It is one of the three largest electronic appliance retailers in China and takes a leading position in the market of Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta region.
In this IPO, China Paradise issued 455,780,000 shares in total at HK$2.25 per share and has raised more than HK$1 billion. Morgan Stanley and Cazenove served as the joint global coordinators, joint bookrunners, joint lead managers and joint sponsors for this IPO.
Zhonglun acted as the PRC legal counsel for the underwriters, and its working team, comprised of Mr. Anthony Zhao, Mr. Anthony Qiao, Ms. Zhang Xiaojun, Mr. Luke Zhang and Miss Agnes Liu at Shanghai office, provided the PRC legal services for this IPO.
