Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Shenzhen Municipality Renewed Zhi Hui’s Appointment as Legal Assistant
Zhi Hui, Partner of the Shenzhen Office of Zhong Lun Law Firm, has been renewed for a new term of 2 years, starting from 2008 to 2010, by the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Shenzhen Municipality, working as a legal assistant offering legal opinion and advice to the Committee.
The competition for the admission of legal assistants to the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress has been rigorous. Candidates are all professional attorneys in Shenzhen. Playing an active role in assisting the members of the Committee, the Legal Assistants are responsible for the following tasks: 1. lawmaking coordination between the Committee and the general public; 2. Analysis of the legislation policy; 3. legal consultation services; 4. collection of feedback regarding any legal proposals.
As a keen contributor to the pro bono work, Zhi Hui will continue her dedication in providing legal assistance to the Committee, by reflecting feedback from the general public and providing legal advice to the Committee, and along the way promote the development of legislation work of Shenzhen in cooperation with all other legal workers.
