With a view to facilitating friendship, easing the tension of pressurized working environment, and enriching the spare time of our lawyers in five offices with entertainment, the first Zhong Lun Golf Champaign was held at Hot Spring Golf Court of Huizhou in January 2008. After 4 days of competitive showdown, the winner went to the Beijing Office, while Shanghai Office was the second runner-up and Shenzhen Office the first runner-up.
As the firm expands rapidly in recent years, the newly incoming lawyers contributed to the increasing number of golfing buddies within Zhong Lun. Under the consensus of all the members at Zhong Lun, the Shenzhen was nominated to undertake the responsibility of hosting the event and the Shenzhen Office made careful preparations in every detail, from the setting of the agenda, to game rules and prizes.
Of course the main goal of the Campaign was for fun. The event offered a refreshing and relaxing environment for our lawyers in which they could better understand each other in the private occasion. To encourage participation of those who were still at amateur level, a Baby Cup was set up and that anyone was more than welcomed to participate.
