Since China's economic reform and opening to foreign investment, overseas Chinese have become a leading in bring foreign investment to China. In the past three years, Mr. Zhang has provided professional services to top overseas Chinese investment enterprises for their direct investment to China, asset acquisition and listing of securities, and played a visible role in protection of lawful interest of the repatriate investment of overseas Chinese.
To acknowledge the contribution that Mr. Zhang and this firm has made as member to the Legal Counsel Group for Overseas Chinese Investment Enterprises, Mr. Zhang and Mr. Wei Zhong have been renewed as Special Counsels for a new term from 2007 to 2009 by the Overseas Chinese Office of State Council on August 10, 2007.
