SOHO China Limited (SOHO China, 0410 HK) listed in HK Stock Exchange on October 8, 2007. SOHO China is a commercial property developer from Beijing, its tranche for the IPO in Hong Kong is 169 times over subscribed. The significant over-subscription of the Hong Kong IPO has triggered the claw-back, and the equity the company held by institutional and non-institutional investors mount up to 1.549 billion shares. The fund in amount of US$1.65 billion raised will be injected into real estate projects in Beijing.
The IPO is sponsored jointly by Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C, HSBC UBS AG. The firm served the company’s IPO through a team headed by Zhang Xue-bing and Yang Yu-hong.
